The idea of the “comfy couch” in counselling is intended to bring to mind a safe, quiet space where you can sit, reflect, and talk through your thoughts, feelings and concerns. But all things considered, the counselling "hour" is brief.
Life isn't confined to that couch—it unfolds outside the counselling appointments, in the moments that challenge you, stretch you, and ask you to grow. That’s often the hardest part: taking what you’ve explored or discussed in a counselling session and applying it in real-time situations.
You don’t have to do that alone. I’m here to support you beyond the couch, helping you navigate those in-between moments and build confidence as you take action to change what is within your control.
